JSONify PRO is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal information:

  • Local Data Only: All data you process with JSONify PRO (JSON, YAML content) stays on your device. We do not transmit, upload, or store your code anywhere.
  • Conversion History: Your conversion history is stored locally on your Mac in ~/Library/Application Support/JSONifyPRO/. You can delete this data anytime.
  • App Settings: Your preferences are stored locally using macOS UserDefaults.
  • Crash Reports: Anonymous crash reports may be collected through macOS to help us improve the app.

How We Use Information

We use collected information solely for:

  • Providing and maintaining JSONify PRO functionality
  • Improving and optimizing the app experience
  • Fixing bugs and technical issues

Data Storage

All data processed by JSONify PRO remains on your device. We do not use any cloud services to store or process your data. Your JSON and YAML content never leaves your Mac.

Third-Party Services

JSONify PRO uses the following open-source libraries (all code runs locally on your device):

  • Yams: For YAML parsing and encoding
  • CodeEditor: For syntax highlighting and code editing

Security

We take security seriously. Your data is protected by macOS security features. The app runs in sandboxed mode with minimal permissions required for its functionality.

Your Rights

You have full control over your data:

  • Delete Data: Uninstalling the app removes all local data
  • Clear History: Use the app's "Clear History" feature anytime
  • Disable Clipboard Monitoring: Turn off clipboard monitoring in Settings
